Accurate Part Clipping by Volume

Imagine if you could take a fuel tank, and then clip some other part partially inside it, and the game would reduce the usable volume of the fuel tank based on volume of the part that was clipped into it.  Would this even be worthwhile?

Somehow not... i think, it wouldn't be worth the effort... it would drasticly complicate making aestetic vehicles using part clipping. I often clip parts, caps, plates and stuff to make nice optical impressions, as the amount of parts to pick and choose from is very limited

Would be fantastic if this could be, would mostly eliminate my aversion to part clipping.
