Can someone help me install RealPlume?

Recommended Posts

Hello @Fallofboots! Most KSP mods require Module Manager to work correctly.

RealPlume is no exception, as it needs to apply the effects to engines, and the only way to do that is with Module Manager.

As for Stock Visual Enhancements, you need to unzip the contents of that StockVisualEnhancements-1.0.8 folder, go down until you find GameData, and merge that folder with the GameData in your KSP root.

You will want to download all of these to make it work, as well:

The configurations

https://github.com/Galileo88/StockVisualEnhancements/releases

The textures

https://github.com/Galileo88/StockVisualEnhancements/releases/tag/1.0.8

Environmental Visual Enhancements

https://github.com/LGhassen/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/releases/

PS: Welcome to the forums!

I still couldn't get it to work here is a video with all the info.

Hi there! Your have grabbed the source code of the mods instead of the release.

Download the .zip file only and not the source.zip

Delete all the folders in GameData except the Squad folder and the Squad Expansion folder.

is it supost to look like this?

Those two(Module Manager and Plume) are zip folders(see the different folder icon), you need to open them and unzip them, take the files out and put them in the Gamedata folder

or else they wont work when they are compressed.

Okay thanks! like this?

The Module Manager dll file must be in GameData.Which version you downloaded? 4.1.4 is the latest i think.

The other mods can be inside folders like Realplume but Module Manager needs to be outside, straight into GameData.
