Motor keeps spinning crew cabin instead of ring

So I'm working on a ringed space station with 3 segments, the second segment houses the ring and the storage part of the station, my problem is I want the ring to spin but it keeps spinning the storage thing instead of the ring, when I flip the motor around it still spins the storage thing even if I move the ring to the other side of the motor, note that I'm using the method Matt Lowne showed in a video of his with the 36 symetry glitch. I don't know if I have the ring strutted together in the wrong area or the motor is just messed up.

Sorry, I meant close ups of the rotor assembly.  

Are you using a fairing base to provide attachment points? I do that as well, but you have to be really careful about exactly which nodes are getting attached.

I added a truss section to the motor with the fairing and it still spun the storage part.

It's hard to see what's happening there. My suggestion would be to strip everything away until the rotor is bare, move it between attachment nodes until it's rotating the way you want, and then re-attach the stuff to it.

i know what happen. the ring need to be on top of the arrow that going left on that screenshot. hope it help. if not please tell me.

Do you have two rings or just the one? If nothing is countering the torque of the motor, then this could be your problem. For each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
