Like on some names I have problems, beeing a non-native english speaker

for example I always thought Vanamonde was Vananamonde

or damonvv damovv

so: let's talk about how your name is pronounced correctly or someone elses

for example mine is Star- Helper- Dude,  pretty easy I would say

Mine is never pronounced. Only written. No KSP fans at the place.

Unless you pronounce/not pronounce "r" after vowels.

Sue-per-flu-us-jay

Sue like the girl's name. Or that one boy from that song.

Per as in "meters per second."

Flu as in the illness I got every year until 2020 because I spent all of that year inside washing my hands.

Us as in "Both of us"

Jay as in Blue Jay.

Debatable. Because English is weird and modern pronunciation of Latinized Greek words (and classical Latin in general) is horribly broken. So Hard C/Soft C, whatever works. Anglophones will usually say soft c "sigh dohn eee ahn" but technically a hard c "kigh dohn eee ahn" is more correct, given derivation from Κύδων and Κυδωνία. (Don't quote me on my terrible phoneticization there. lol)

Mine is originally german, so native english speakers usually mispronounce it at first. It's meant to sound like Duffny.

Daf works too, it's how I usually get called, sounds like Duff.

Mine is unpronounceable, I've heard "Mickey", like Mickey Mouse.

You might ask, "where did it come from if you can't pronounce it?".

Simple, look down on your average QERTY keyboard and find the keys.

I thought it's pronounced 'Mark-i'.

Mine is straightforward to pronounce, as it's completely uninspired. ordinary kerman

My name cannot be properly pronounced by human vocal equipment, but a reasonable approximation is “Kzanol;” Kiz-(rhymes with Liz)-an-all. But try not to pronounce the I at all., like in “Kzin”

So I  find it easier to go by my status here, StrandedonEarth. That should be straightforward to pronounce.

It's clearly written underneath it, just not in Latin-derived characters (or Greek-derived for that matter). (for the convenience of mobile users, it's 「ヨーッスノットマイン」).

English and their weird pronunciations. Though at least they aren't running out of sound combinations to use I suppose.

I just have to say this once:

my name in the game Armored Warfare is Tater78 xD

Many years ago on a ww2 online flight sim (with a graphics quality barely above that of a flip phone, lol) I was "Spud." I chose the name because having just started, and not knowing I would continue doing it, I assumed I'd fly about as well as a spud. The guys would say, "later, tater" when I'd <S> and log. That game went away, and I switched to WarBirds, and Spud was taken, so I switched to tater so people from the other sim would recognize me, and just stuck with it.
