Try asking your question in the "GamePlay Questions" Forum :D .   A lot of people there will be glad to help you out.

Not many people look in this sub forum, Kerbal Network, unless they are looking for info or asking questions about the forums themselves.  KSP related questions are usually best posed in the relevant subforum.

can u give me the link for the chat???????

Please be aware (or learn) how forums work. Forum is NOT chat, and neither is "chat" necessary to solve your problem. Neither are people going to fall over themselves trying to help you.

So...to start.....what have you done already to try reach orbit?

I've seen people here fall over themselves to help others. We're a pretty nice bunch. :)

Don't worry, you're in lots of good company-- KSP is hard, at first.  ;)

Could you tell us a little bit about what happens?  Specifically:

  1. Could you show us a picture of your ship?
  2. When your ship reaches 10 km altitude, how fast is it going?  And what direction is it pointed?
  3. Any description of how you're flying your ship and what happens would be helpful.

Here's how to post a picture, if you don't know:

Spoiler
  1. Take a screenshot in the game (F1 by default; the game will put it in the "Screenshots" folder of wherever you have KSP installed)
  2. Upload your screenshot to some free image-sharing service, such as https://imgur.com
  3. After you've uploaded it, right-click on the image in your browser and choose "Copy Image Location"
  4. Paste that URL here in your forum post and we can see the picture :)

Sufficient deltav + sufficient thrust - detrimental drag + understanding circularising technique = orbit success.

Where:

DeltaV = enough to get into orbit (figure eludes me but about 3-3.5k maybe?)

Thrust = more than 1 twr at surface of kerbin, I like about 1.75 myself as I'm impatient and used to Tantares engines.

Drag = use fairings to stop draggy parts at top of rocket and fins at bottom to add it

Technique = burn prograde at the apoapsis to increase periapsis and form a ‘circle’. Also doing a gravity turn means you can reduce dV, lots of youtube vids to explain this.

One or more of those is stopping you I’d wager.
