The daily kerbal has ceased for Months. What's happening?

as the title goes. I was pretty enjoying reading it every Friday when I was in college. What happened.

Probably because they're working on next update (or another bugfix patch) and they don't have anything to show us.

That's been my assumption considering the speed of the last update and the remaining bugs in the object attachment part of the game.

Also, if you take a closer look at the subforum, it always looks like that. Few months of radio silence, maybe interrupted by something unrelated to updates, then a first mention of an update about 2 months prior to release date and relatively frequent posts afterwards until it goes out. Then cycle repeats.

So, since the 1.11 release was a bit bumpy due to the bugs, they may have started taking baby steps towards the next one, and since they usually provide two big updates per year, I'd expect some news maybe next month.

I vaguely remember hearing about some health scare, but it blew over quickly and nobody remembers it now. Maybe that had something to do with it?
