Proposal to Squad for an official name change

This is a deeply philosophical issue that we need to discuss, the fabrik of space-time itself is slowly unraveling...

Everyone knows "Bill the Science Guy" and "Bob the Builder" from our beloved kelevision programs... So why on Kerbin, I ask you, is Bob a scientist and Bill an engineer?

To maintain stability in the universe, I propose a name change to bring piece and mind to all kerbalkind.

I prefer Bob and Bill as they are...

Commemorating (as I like to think) the lives of Dr. Robert R. "Bob" Gilruth (Scientist) the Director of the Manned Spacecraft Center in 1961 and  William "Bill" Stephenson (Engineer) the Deputy Director of the Life Sciences Directorate at Johnson Space Center retiring in 1999 .

But that's just me.

Bill Nye might be "the science guy" but he's first and foremost an engineer.

As for Bob, short for Robert, and the tendency for Kerbal things to go "boom" - I think of Robert Oppenheimer.

Actually even after countless hours in the game, I couldn’t tell you which does which. The names are too similar. I’d like them to change one something like “Dave” so there’s no confusion.

I edit my save files as soon as I create them, so the first four are always pilots, anyway.

I actually remember them because of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Bob the Builder.

I just remember that they're reversed.

Because Bill failed the science, while Bob failed the engineering,

Jeb failed both, so they just let him drive the explosive rockets, to keep the specialists safe.
