Help with docking plz!

Recommended Posts

I managed to get two rockets in close proximity to each other, however in this game I could not see the yellow lines that show where the rocket is and the distance from it. Do you know where they went or if I accidentally switched them off?

I do have mods and here is a list of them just in case one of them is the problem:

B9partSwitch, Deployable engines, Flags, FuelTankPlus, HullCameraVDS, KerbalEngineer, Kerbaltek, ModRocketSys, ModularFlightIntegrator, NearFutureExploration/Propulsion/Solar/Spacecraft, SC Spacecraft Parts, StockWaterfallEffects, TarsierSpaceTech, Waterfall.

Glad for any help that can be given!

Tried both, F4 just toggles sound level on my computer, and I mean that even when I am 4km away I have to resort to map view to see where the target vessel is. The yellow box normally appears ~40km, am I right? Even when I have selected it as the target vessel, the yellow box doesn't show up.

@FruitGoose I will try to reset the F4 control in the settings, I will get back on if it works, hopefully by the end of the day.

@Philae_Rosetta2021
Are you using a laptop of some kind?  Many laptops replace the standard function keys with 'useful' functions not normally available on the keyboard, which has the unfortunate side effect of making the F-keys unavailable to any other software that might want to use them.

Usually, there will be a 'Fn' key somewhere which allows you to access the 'normal' function key by pressing them in combination (e.g. Fn + F4).
You can also change this behaviour in the BIOS (usually) so that the F-keys default to being F-keys, and you need to push Fn + FX to change the volume/brightness/whatever your laptop manufacturer thought was more important than providing standard functionality.
No, I'm not bitter about this, why would you think that?

Check the user manual for your machine for details on how to change the BIOS setting.
