New planets in KSP1 to tease KSP2

Recommended Posts

Obviously, the stock system isnt changing in KSP2, however, interstellar systems could be added as a teaser, along with 1 engine and the fuel to get there(daedalus perhaps)

Then, see what kind of missions players can do and the like, also, would be a way to expand longevity of KSP1 once KSP2 comes out

"To tease you into buying the sequel, we're going to include features of it in the original game"

I don't think that works the way you think it works.

Just one planet, that destroys anything that gets within 1 million meters of it, wouldn't hurt, but I dont like it wouldnt fit in the games spirit.

Or a planet that when you land it sends you to squad's ksp2 demo(if there is one) or its buy website, that is in ksp2. it only appear when you turn on a setting.

KSP and KSP2 are being made by different developers. Chances of crossover, close to nil.

If you want interstellar travel in KSP, download KSPIE (or FFT) and the extrasolar planet pack of your choice.

Chances are very big someone will create mods to backport KSP2 planets into KSP1 tho

Quite possibly. But the OP's idea that Squad might do this sort of work as a tease to build interest in KSP2 is nonsense. There's no profit in it for Squad. And if KSP2 can't generate enough interest on its own, no amount of previous version "teasing" will help.
