KSP loads to black screen with cursor

So, I have a little bit of a problem. Whenever I try to open KSP, it just loads to a black screen with a cursor. It's not frozen because I can still move my cursor, click, etc. This happened after a computer restart. I have already looked this up to no avail. This is a DRM-free install. 

 

This does not happen with any other games, only KSP.

 

PC Specs:

Intel Core i3-8130u (it's bad, I know)

Intel UHD Graphics 620

8GB RAM

Just found out that it was a corrupted folder within RPM, after running CHKDSK for a few hours I was able to remove it.

Have you added the “hints” in brackets after the squad folder name? The game doesn’t seem to like it when it can’t find just “squad”. Try changing those back to the originals it might sort it (same for internal folders within squad folder as well).
