How do i get some EZ Science?

If you have enough batteries, you can even set up some command pods sideways to roll around and do crew reports!

The best part is that this is almost true-to-life:

Buzz, we've told you that there's no useful science to be had just rolling around the pad--*Punch*

Anyway, seriously, you can also load up your pod with every experiment you have access to and do those experiments on the pad.  Be careful about rolling around with them, though, because they tend to have low impact tolerances and weird shapes.

Stick two Mk1 command pods together pointy end to pointy end to make an hourglass-shaped contraption, then stick all your available science experiments on it and position it so that when it appears on the launchpad it's lying down. Roll around using the roll controls (Q/E), it can be a bit tricky to steer and don't go too fast or the pods will explode. Put Bob in one pod and every time you find a new "biome" remember to send him out on EVA to grab the data, store it in the pods (you can store one copy of each experiment from each location in a pod, so with two pods you can store two copies of each experiment) and reset the mystery goo containers. The land around each facility is its own "biome" and most of the buildings also count as biomes, each one gets you more science so visit as many places as possible.

Spoiler

Alternatively, there's a handy little mod called KEI which automates the whole thing for you, running every experiment you've unlocked so far in every "biome" in the KSC. The biomes can change with building upgrades and unlocking new experiments means you'd have to roll (or drive, if you get wheels) around the KSC again to scrape up all the science by hand, so KEI saves a lot of time and effort for this one specific task; it's a good place to start dipping your toes into modding KSP.

Add a science container between the two pods and you can just click 'collect science' after each excursion :)

True, but you can only store one copy of each experiment in any given part and most experiments need to be run more than once; plus they’re not available at the start of a new science/career game but Bob is.
