I have a problem with my ksp, I updated it to the latest version, but I cannot use the EVA construction mode and it also stops me closing the game although I think it is because of my PC, but what I want to know is because I do not have the construction mode

do you play with mods?

do you use the steam version of ksp?

Remember that only engineers can be used for EVA construction mode. Pilots and scientists won't work.

It is 1.11.2, it is the version that came out when I updated it

I would try backing up your “Saves” folder, and then reinstalling the game. 
 

Before you do that, can you take a screenshot with an engineer kerbal on EVA?

Just now I have just tested and I realize that the comment above is right, because if I can build with the engineer
