Recently on the new KSP2 Suggestions and Development Discussion tab there has been a thread that caught my eye. A Tribute to KSP 1. This is not a thank you to the KSP Team, but a suggestion that a memorial or a tribute of KSP1 should be present in the game. Many suggestions have been suggested, and I decided to list these in a poll. The poll is above. If you have any other suggestions or comment, you can comment below.

A lot of KSP1 is already in KSP2 so some degree of homage may be redundant. "2 is already supposed to be a modernized reconstruction of the same core experience, and we've already heard confirmed that everything you can do in the original will be present as well.

Seeing some callbacks to the game's development history would be nice as long as its fun to seek out.

I think a small callback somewhere is warranted, but beyond that KSP 2 is suppose to take the existing KSP 1 and build up and beyond it.
