You have MechJeb.

 

Do you have 'Ascent Guidance' active? - and/or any of the other controls?

 

Revert. Remove the MJ controller from your craft and relaunch. See if that fixes it.

I have no experience in RO, but in Stock, dimmed RCS/SAS usually means that you have no control.

That would normally mean that you're missing a probe core or piloted capsule, or you don't have communication with KSC = missing antenna. Does any of that apply to RO and help in your situation?

I think you need a probe core.

What is contained inside the fairing?  Do you have a piloted capsule in there, or a probe core?  If it's a probe core, is it one that has advanced SAS capabilities, such as Prograde/Retrograde hold?  If it's a piloted capsule, do you have a pilot inside that has enough experience to have advanced SAS capabilities?
