Isn't that the Comet, which revealed the secrets perils of metal fatigue?

Indeed, some of the early planes pretty much split along the seams because of that. The image is a Comet 4 though.

If I’m not mistaken it was the square windows on the comet that contributed to the cracks. Though I could be wrong…

Just found out the SU-75 Exists, and it looks damn cool, though I will say the intakes are a bit weird.

The Checkmate SU-75 revealed full specs and information (photos/Video)

The Halifax is pretty neat as well

And the MiG-21 is just pure concentrated soviet awesomeness.

I like the afformentioned Skycrane, CC-130H Hercules, and the CH-47 Chinook.

My favorite one i think is the KA-52 Alligator.

Further proving that, i have a little model of it.

I also like the E-2 Hawkeye.

It was the A-12, until I learned about this monster.

I don't know about you, but I'm gonna try and replicate that. Gonna have to download GroundEffect to do that.

You need to replicate this one too!

Wow, this is hard. Too many, and several have already been posted. So, here are a few more unusual ones:

Dornier Do X: I would have loved to see this thing up close.

YF23: I remember when this was up against the Lockheed. I always liked this plane better:

IL-62-I studied some Russian in college and had the chance to live there 1996-98.  I never got to fly on a Russian jet but saw these all the time when flying in and out of Moscow:

I was a late kid, as was my father, so my grandfather who I never met was much older than other kids' grandparents.  He flew one of these in the First World War.

You know what time it is… time for a wall of text and aircraft pictures! Today I will go through some of my favourite helicopters.

The MI-2 honestly looks fun to fly.

The MI-17 is also awesome.

And the MI-24 out of all of them is the best.

I also find the Huey quite interesting. With two big rotors it makes such a good sound!

And last but not least who could forget the mighty CH-53?
