Rapid inclination changes.

Why does ascent Inclination change rapidly? For instance with vector engines it oscillates like crazy from equatorial to minmus plan. I can just change planes while in orbit or deal with the final inclination but for building stations it isn't fun.

Are you talking about engines over-correcting while trying to hold a heading?

Do you mean inclination right after launch, during ascent?

When your orbital velocity is very low, it doesn't take much to change inclination, right as you launch, you are essentially at apoapsis of a very elliptical orbit that intersects kerbin's surface, with a very low orbital velocity at that apoapsis
