Can't launch my craft...

Hello, when I try to launch my craft, my cursor turns rainbow and spins for about 15 seconds, and then the buttons at the top darken, and I'm unable to interact with anything in the game. I can't exit the VAB/SPH, I can't add/remove parts, I can't move parts, I can't change up the staging, and it's been really annoying. I'd appreciate some help.
