How to undock or release Grabbing Unit

Was this assembled in space or in the VAB? If the VAB, then I think the claw might not be attaching where you wanted it to attach. As for the other problem, that looks like the classic old undocking bug, which I haven't encountered in so long that I don't remember the workaround. I hope someone else does.

I believe this is the workaround? It's what I've found for the docking port bug. I've never seen it with the klaw, but I rarely use it either.
