"Please choose a valid Kerbal Space Program folder."

This probably has nothing to do with mods, but i did mod my install a LOT so im putting this here

Whenever i try to update my install, it always says 'please choose a valid KSP folder." even though i upgraded my other install perfectly fine, do i need ANOTHER install or what?

The current version is 1.12.2

Please specify what you actually try to do and how.

Do you try to update mods? Do you try to update the game? Since you're getting an error message, I assume you run some kind of software for whatever update you try  to do, so is it CKAN? Steam? GoG? Standalone update from the KSP store?

I tried to update my install from 1.12.1 to 1.12.2, and the patch installer said "Please select a valid Kerbal Space Program folder." and i got it from the KSP store, i dont use CKAN or GoG

Problem solved, i guess i just had to install the patch like 5 times
