Control of Robotic Pistons?

Recommended Posts

Hey there, I feel like I'm either running into a KSP bug or bumping my head into something really stupid.   I'm trying to write code to control the Breaking Ground robotics parts...   and the rotation servo and hinge work fine...   but I can't get the piston to move!   I'm setting the targetExtension and seeing the new value show up in the PAW, but the piston servo doesn't do any actual movement.   if I then grab the target Extension slider in the PAW and move it, the servo goes right to work, so it's not as dumb as me only testing it on a craft without batteries or something like that.   Has anyone successfully driven the pistons?   Thanks!

And the same is going on with the Rotors - I can SET values for Torque Limit and maximum RPM programmatically, and if I click out of the PAW and reopen it, I can see the sliders are at the new values I set...   but nothing ACTUALLY changes until I drag the sliders inside the PAW.   Annoying!   Any thoughts?

You've probably tried this but... "OnPreModifyServo() - Updates the values of a servo in both scenes. Is called when The PAW values are modified" and "OnModifyServo () - Updates the values of a PhysX servoJoint in Flight"

I did try those methods and didn't get things working!
