Ship build using more oxidiser than fuel

Hey peeps on my latest build using mk2 parts when i fly it uses more oxidiser than liquid fuel so i have like a third of a tank left when engines stop. Anybody know why?

One possibility is that you accidentally added a liquid-fuel only tank to your craft. The ones that say "Rocket Fuel Tank" have the liquid fuel and oxidizer mixed at the right proportion so that they should drain everything evenly. The tanks that just say "Liquid Fuel" don't have any oxidizer in them and are meant to be used with jet engines and the nuclear Nerv engine because they don't use oxidizer.

With most rocket engines any extra liquid fuel on your craft won't get burned because there isn't enough oxidizer on board to mix it with.

there is no engine or anything whatsoever that uses more oxidizer than liquid fuel. there is no way in game to burn more oxidizer than fuel.

this leaves a few options still on the table:

- you actually loaded less than the full capacity of liquid fuel

- you misspoke and you actually run out of liquid fuel

Another possibility that comes to mind is that maybe the craft uses Rapier engines in air-breathing mode for a part of the flight? That could consume LF and leave leftover oxidizer if the craft.
