game crashes my computer when I run it

I got the steam version of ksp and it used to work, but then I stopped playing it for a while and now when I try and run it the game crashes my entire computer while it's loading, I had mods on it but then removed them and that didn't work. I re-installed the game and that didn't work, and I wiped the save data from the steam cloud and that didn't work, no log folder appears in the game folder when it crashes, and the game used to work fine. I looked at steam posts and couldn't find anything similar to this problem either.

It looks good maybe you should try uninstalling and before you install again delete the folder of KSP in the steam version it is in steam/steamapps/common  there might be mod files chilling somewhere or something making conflict
