I installed a Nvidia:GForce GT430, now KSP crashes my computer

Specs are :

Intel:Pentium(lol)

RAM:4 GB

Nvidia:GForce GT430

Yep these are my specs :p

But it used to run ksp pretty good before i put an old graphics card that i listed here and the pc pretty much started crashing!

This is because of the psu

If the psu cant handle the power intake the pc crashes and it does not show a Blue screen

If the card is sucking enough juice to turn your PSU inside out then, ain't much we can suggest.

But the there is the usual of make sure your drivers are upto date, and/or get a new PSU.

This maybe your problem, I just use my integrated Intel UHD 620. I also have an i5 8th Gen with 12 GB's of RAM. Even then, my PC doesn't like KSP much.

If you added a graphics card and now the PC can't run due to insufficient power supply, perhaps remove the graphics card to let the PC run with a sufficient power supply?

What kind of PSU do you have? (Wattage)

Don't keep letting it crash because of insufficient power from your PSU. If you do the PSU will eventually die, and might take everything else with it.

Only solution other than a new PSU is to underclock the GPU to reduce its power requirements enough that it doesn't crash the PC, assuming the PSU wasn't already maxed out without the graphics card.
