I'm not so worried. The energy intake is about 98% or so of what it should be. And as i have already said, it's not like the mission control people can't make everything alright! One example would be Galileo.

Apologies to those few who are interested, haven't been on the forums for a while and I haven't been able to post updates here.

Lucy recently photographed some of it's targets:

And as mentioned in the post above another asteroid has been planned for a fly-by a month after another gravity assist from Earth in October to look forward to.

First photos off Dinkinesh here, and it's newly discovered moon :cool:

Interestingly it was reported the asteroid had an elongated shape, while it seems now the main body is a fairly typical diamond. It looks like the moon smudged into the parent in the long distance photos.

Very cool!  Looks like they may be tidally locked; hard to tell for sure.  If it was mentioned in the article I missed it.  (Long day, eyes tired, reading on phone tedious, need to get my eyeglass prescription updated methinks)
