Laythe closer to Jool in ksp 2?

Recommended Posts

Are you talking about tidal heating like the big Jovian moons experience?

Edit, did a quick math: In theory you could get liquid surface oceans between Io and Europa, or mean orbits between 420,000km and 670,000km. Based on KSP's 1/10th scale universe Laythe is probably too close at 27,000km, but I think we can imagine a different internal composition is keeping it from boiling away its oceans.

Laythe is not actually close enough to Jool to be like Kerbin, in reality it would be more like Hoth (habitable but barely) so I wonder if the Ksp 2 team are gonna fix this by bringing Laythe closer to Jool so it's actually like a second Kerbin.

Moving it closer wouldn't really help that much, what you are really looking for is inclination.

They made

But they made Minmus into ceramic

That's more of a lore thing than an actual gameplay element
