Possibly since Monday, and likely until at least a few days into January. Given that release date has seriously slipped twice already, I suspect they will hold off on exact date until they're pretty sure about it. So we might not know exact date until well into the summer. I agree that January 1st is a wee bit optimistic and more likely it will be released much later, but December 25th is taking the 2022 release to a very cynical level. All that would do is set a rigid deadline for them, and we have all seen what happens with that... Rush to meet a deadline and release it when it's not quite ready, or miss the date and disappoint everyone. Both options result in bad press and pitchforks.
