Jetpack Quidditch

I've heard of suggestion of flying by attaching wings to arms Icarus-style on the Moon and Titan (Titan wouldn't need additional atmosphere, just a SCUBA tank for breathing).  I'd assume that using the hands in winged quidditch would be still legal, but you'd probably size the quaffle so you couldn't carry it and fly at the same time (or at least fly well).

Yes, you do. Is the cue ball thrown, batted, or shot from a handheld tube?

The balls are styrofoam (or something of that density), you push them with sticks (please excuse my lack of proper terminology) like with real pool. They have to be low mass so that drag can slow them down in a reasonable time.

That spawns an idea for rotating sections; it would be a throwback to the old trireme rowing ship days: Using stationary bikes to spin up / spin down the rotating section.

"RIDE, ye curs, ride hard, I want this barrel up to 2G for calisthenics or it'll be half water rations!"

Doesnt work. Friction will despin the ring as the bikes come to a stop. You'd have to keep the bikes running continuously, and the spin rate isnt going to be enough for significant gravity.

Clutching, free-wheeling,  or simply moving the tires against/away from the drive path/friction ring

That's not a solution, that's delaying the inevitable. You cant build up any significant angular momentum in the ring that way.
