@Scarecrow71 I am looking into Venera 3 which is identical to Venera 1 except the craft completed a successful DSM to encounter Venus, and so is known to have crashed into the planet.   Venera 3 lost contact with Earth before reaching Venus, and so sent back no data, and so its actual fate is unknown.  The subsequent Venera 4 probe entered the Venus atmosphere and was successful in sending back data, but ceased transmissions prior to reaching the surface.   Venera 4 sent data about the composition, density and pressure of Venus atmosphere which proved that the probe  was incapable of reaching the surface intact.  The data was used to design a more robust probe for later missions.   My point is that Venera 3 reaching the surface intact should not be a requirement for this mission, because it certainly could not have happened IRL.  I propose to show Venera 3 breaking up in the Venusian atmosphere.
