Why's this fuel gauge point to E?

Flying a McDonnell Douglas DC-10, Japan Airlines livery, full passengers, 11.5 (not a  crew, full fuel tanks, left side overhead storage in Row 12 down, 52 tray tables down, the flight attendants serving drinks, on Jupiter

The reason for all the details? I want to be a flight attendant once I get out of college.

It doesn't take that much power to completely map, tear down, transport and then accurately reassemble a human body does it?
