Weird Shadow glitches

I have this weird shadow glitch in my save file of a newly installed 1.12.3 game. Weird shadows keep flickering in and out of existence for my crafts.

Not just this, the ambient light boost does not work even if i raise it to the maximum. Nights are PITCH BLACK.

I started playing KSP after so long, and I am *this* close to dumping it again. Please help.

Questions to ask yourself:

What happens when you go to the Tracking Center then back to the craft?

What happens when you exit the game and re-enter it?

What happens when you exit the game, restart the machine, and re-enter the game?

The point of the above is to try to determine if you are dealing with a temporary glitch, or a persistent problem with your install.

I'm not seeing right away what mod you are running that requires Kopernicus, which one is it?  If nothing requires Kopernicus, then maybe it isn't required.

The only mod I see right away that would affect shadows like that is EVE, what happens when you remove that mod?

How much free RAM do you have after all those mods are loaded?

What kind of messages are you getting in your logs?  KSP.log and Player.log

These are all just questions I'd try to answer if I were in your situation which could directly lead to a solution, or allow you to ask a more specific question once you get more answer from the above.

Finally, with that many mods I know I wouldn't attempt it without installing all via CKAN and being very careful about what version of the mod and what version of KSP I was using
