A Jool 5 Challenge

Second attempt as first attempt failed as forgetting drills is bad: (I was in orbit around Tylo when realized I forgot the drills but this time its going to work)

First attempt

Part 1: The setting up

Lets get started on the first module the Habitation module. This had crew onboard but forgot who was in it at the time:

I hate janky fairings

Nice good launch

Woops clamshell wasn't on

That is weird separation

Orbital insertion

Now that is a good orbit

That is now done let's get the engine module docked.

Normal standard launch and normal looking fairing

Now for docking

Now let get the SSTO launched and docked, This some attempts to launch as it kept flipping but good o'l see the concepts design of the Dynasoar and how it was launched .

Now for docking and que for No Time For Cation music as its getting closer to being dark

Now that's done lets get the heatshields up as I am going to aerobrake around Laythe this took along time because of how that rocket keeps flipping when doing gravity turn:

Now to finish the preparation and now to send the last lander and that is the miner/lander.

After realizing that I didn't added drills I have to redo a lot of stuff again soooo this might take longer but I'll just get to orbit and photos will be the lander so I'll do everything again so top post is not true now. (I am mad at me)

K.I.V Jool 2 | Second attempt

Same mods as before but one new mod added is Ship Manifest to help with refueling. lets do this

Part 1: The construction

So some parts of the design had changed (I made a new engine area but decided to use the old engine)

Some images might be in the wrong order as finding the right one to put in will imgur is not putting it in order

Now for the first launch

Crew for this is: Valentina Kerman, Richfal Kerman and Haygun Kerman

Modifications for this module: A bit shorter, no ISRU and ore tanks (The Drill lander will be used to refuel) and no docking port Infront to add heatshields as too many attempts to aerobrake gone wrong and Docking ports have been updated to Modified lander and SSTO.

Modifications to Launch Vehicle: Instead of 4 boosters its now 2 and fairing is a bit updated to module modifications.

Now that out of the way time for the engine module this is unkerbaled

Modifications to this module: RCS from LOX and switched to Mono.

Modifications to Launch Vehicle: N/A.

Now for the SSTO (But launched on a rocket to save fuel)

Crew for this mission Jebediah Kerman, Bill Kerman and Bob Kerman

Modifications done to plane: Insteaded of front docking port was replaced with a fairing with Mono inside and docking port moved to underside, The RCS was switched to 5 horn RCS.

Modifications done to Launch Vehicle: N/A.

Modifications to Lander: Drill this time and docking port moved and after 3rd launch more monopropellant
