go to the tracking station, you have the option to delete debris

This or you could reuse stuff like solar panels. Make an rover and have an engineer attach stuff to it you then use at an base or other places. 
Its good training for going interplanetary and the supply lines are year long

Or combine both ideas. use an engineer to attach everything together into one big ball and then delete it from the tracking station

Have some fun with the object thrower, just be careful not to wipe out the stuff you want to keep!

Hmm.  I have stuff that is not debris that is just laying around.  It does not show up in the tracking station so can not be deleted.  It would be nice if it could be removed permanently.
