3D printed engines... snicker.

Actually, nothing wrong with their tech, just laughing at the marketing.  But once you look closer at that "3D printed" bit, you realize that it might give you a bit more control than casting, and not require X-raying to check for cavities (oxidizerless fuel is safe to X-ray, no idea how they handle SRBs).

Couldn't find what oxidizer they are using, looks like N₂O, but might be LOX.  Almost certainly pressurized: see notes on how they throttle and restart.

For some reason it says LEO (suborbital). Presumably not actually orbital.

I was looking for Vaya space's aerospike engine... before I realized HyPr is a different company.  Have they completed an engine?  Do we have a thread on them - or are they just a white paper company?

Oops - there is a disconnect! 

The thread is certainly a Vaya space thread... But the HyPr Space engine with the aerospike design is what I was asking about (referenced in your Spoiler) 

Or am I confused?  Is Vaya and HyPr the same?
