While i was making a starliner recreation i tested the abort system and when i deployed the chutes it didnt slow down at all any one got a fix

A lot of things could be wrong. Could you post a pic of your ship after deploying the chutes and before it crashes?

Without much (or any) data I can only guess that the module you wanted to protect didn't get high enough for the chutes to have a chance of slowing it down.

Don't make the abort button deploy the parachutes, deploy them from the staging like you normally would. That might help.
