How does Starfield compare to KSP2 (ship & base building, environment, IVA, HUD)?

Dual univers seems to be Star citizen but without Chris Roberts and his ability to Hoover up money. Makes you wonder what they could have done with his income.

While I agree in general, generaly comparisons are a valid way of examining a game, it’ but its also somewhat counterproductive to talk about differences, when at base both games are completely different in what they want to do.

 

Stafrield wants to be a “single player MMO” that wants you to solve its puzzle/mystery and build some kind of deport network while you do, KSP wants you to build a space spanning civilization. Both want you to see what’s out there, but both have diferent focuses and ways to get it done.

Starfiel is a completely different genre, it has as much in common with KSP as a Space themed monopoly would have.

Oh I know, I’m talking more along the like of scale and intention, most single player RPGs tend to be comparatively small, and the world maps are not easily convertible into mmos, while many of Bethesdas world map scales are big enough to drop a couple of dozen if not hundreds of  people on the map at the same time, it’s largely the game engine that restricts population.

Basically I meant more along the line of MMO scale.
