years of hiatus / looking for mod(s) (solved)

Hi there
as the title. years have gone by and I am back to Kerbal. 
of course, mods have to be updated, reinstalled etc etc.

1. so I am looking for a mod I used in the past: it let me set up launch details, like angle, turn grade etc etc.  and target altitude.  and then id did the rest automatically (use staging, throttle mgt etc)
If I also remember it wasnt available in early stages of career, so you had to unlock these features first.

I for the life of me cannot remember which one that was

2. I am also looking for extensions to KSP stock contracts. 
more of them. not necessarily harder ones. I am not interested in plane contracts of sorts. 
would also be cool if contracts would match current tech / research level as this seems to be a slight mismatch in terms of feasability and contract payoff.

I used to run a mod that had several typs of scanners for probes and satellites. I specifically remember one part that look like a small grill. it could extend and form a grill like, round curve. it looked awesome. I do not remember what it was used for, but it made satellites look really cool.

For extending contracts, you'ld want:

There are a TON of contract packs for it out there... Unfortunately, no real way to find them but searching... I dont kknow of anyplace they are indexed or listed...

ah I remembered mechjeb, didn´t remember that it has the launch stuff in it as well. thanks


as to the contract packs: I read that in the forums but it seems all are outdated ? they seem to listed for versions WAY older than 1.12.
do they still work ?

Yes, they still work. There are some minor glitches here and there, but it wouldn't be Kerbal if there weren't
