walking around inside shuttle

be nice to walk around or move around inside or shuttles .   i mean we could have a cup of koffee why we look out the window and walk around the ship as we or floating about earth with kerbal smalls.    really tho.  would be a nice change to walk around and do stuff on the shuttle.

For traversable IVAs to be a thing, I'd be interested to see how the developers address the following:

• Internal collisions: Probably by having a simplified invisible collision mesh to go along with the more detailed diffuse/specular visual mesh
• When to decouple internal physics from external physics (e.g. a Kerbal bumping against an interior wall shouldn't push the spacecraft off-course)
• Preventing Kerbals from getting wedged/stuck (e.g. by making sure IVA collision meshes are all convex)
• Camera clipping / zoom level control for first person vs. third-person views

To me this is one of those 'nice idea, but way too much work to implement sufficiently well' features.

FreeIva seems to do this pretty well.  That being said,  I'd be pretty supprised if this ends up being done anytime soon/at all.

While this would be awesome, especially if we could walk around in buildings in colonies later as well, I can live without it if it would impact performance a lot.
