Reach the designed equatorial orbit around Kerbin

Recommended Posts

I can't do this mission, i tried  my inclination  to 180 and 0 as well, but it never gets completed. Can someone tell me if i'm missing something?? I'm stuck in this mission for like 4 hours image.png

OH my god, thank you. I was confused with the km, m and meters thing. Now it's time to fly!

Shouldn't you be trying to match your orbit to the pink path? It's much higher than you are.

Meanwhile, question moved to the KSP1 sub.

I agree with Vanamonde. The target Ap and Pe are just shy of 10 million meters, and your orbit is closer to 90 thousand meters.

Also, the target orbit is backward (inclination 180 degrees) so you have to flip your orbit, or when you start over launch to the West, not the East. You can watch the target orbit line in map mode and see which direction it's swirling.

Not sure you have enough delta-v to fix this, perhaps a gravity assist off the Mun would get close to reversing the orbit.  Next time, launch west and keep burning till apoapsis is well out there.
