Cheat...Launch From Space (Skip the Launchpad!)

STEPS

1. Attach a launch clamp to your rocket. 

2. In your .json craft file. Modify the offsetToGround file value to be around 999999 (you can chose how high to go but don't go too high, your game will crash).

3. Save then launch like normal.

It's not a cheat, it's a Space Elevator!  (Assuming you can set it to a keostationary orbit height of 2.8 Mm.)

With this one simple trick, you too can become an interstellar species

You can also go inside of Kerbin by using a negative value. However its full of water and lots of darkness. Was hoping gravity would increase our speed but there is too much resistance.
