Here is a shot of my Dres Spacecraft. I hope you like it.

This would be my second recorded interplanetary mission, so I am making sure I have enough Delta-v. Even then, in my equations are falling short. Hopefully I can get a refueling spacecraft over there as well...

Happy Explosions!

@airtrafficcontroller

The KSPRC configs I'm not sure are legal to share, the Kopernicus config is below, and the KS3P config will shortly be posted on the KS3P thread.

Remember the launch tower?

I decided to land on it one day. Made a special vehicle, with precise RCS thrusters. Tens of them.

Then I decided it was too slow. Courtesy of crewmainfest and Damned robotics:

Party on the tower! On its invisible surface...

They were going to watch every launch.

Then I discovered they are considered to be "on the launchpad" and must be cleared before rockets are launched.

So I made my own tower.

The media tower is still there today.

Your first image: "To be, or not to be. That is the question". :D

Oh boy, I replied to a post from 2013...

Took the Eve Party Boat to see if the ol' gal has still got it.

I'm pleased to report she still has, as the ship designed for a four man Eve return mission in v0.24.2 made Kerbin orbit in v1.3.1. Even with the aerodynamics of a brick, it still managed to power to orbit.

BTW... the partthat made orbit (the Eve lander) was only 1/3 fuelled at takeoff. In the original mission it was refuelled by a small fleet of tankers. This time around she was left in an orbit as a monument to the "drag, what's drag" era of astronautics.

Getting back into KSP after a while. Very lucky to have captured this moment after my ablative microfission propulsion spacecraft, which after a short 80 day trip to Duna, happened to cross the orbit of its sister ship which arrived a 100 days earlier and flew within 1.4 km completely by chance!
