I got chills when me and Bob got here. Neil Armstrong, August 5, 1930 - August 25, 2012. Rest in Peace good Sir, you are a not only a National Treasure, but a Hero to all mankind. In his immortal words:

Houston, Tranquility Base here. The EAGLE has landed. That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.

I think I left Jeb up there too long...

Gather 'round! Young or small, all are welcome! Come see the freak of nature, the probe that SHOULD NOT FLY! (But does, somehow.)

And here's the probe circularising after launch. In a few days, it'll be off to cruise the upper atmosphere of Eve.

Here's my new highly-maneuverable orbital tug; it'll be used to tow components from low Kerbal orbit into 500km orbit to better serve interplanetary missions. No, it's totally my design; I wasn't watching old reruns of a cool '90s SF TV show while making it, honest...

And last, a beauty shot of Sun-Kerbinrise from my Probekabob mission to the Mun.

I wish I could build escape towers that nice.

Also, you might want to switch to something other than Flickr; it seems to watermark everything.

Don'tkillme.

i have seen nicer escape towers, mine is just there for "practical" purposes xD

also the watermater is just some additional bbcode which i blindly copied from their autogen code, as long as its not on my pictures i don't really care much for it :)

Jeb has been alone on the Mun.

Bill was testing a rover for Jeb, when he went too close to the mass driver.

A rescue mission picked him up a day later, but then they decided to go on to Minmus.

As the engine clipped into the ground, looks like they will be needing another rescue...

The final crew of I-C Base on Minmus. From left to right: Donrim Kerman (Backup Mission Pilot); Neilster Kerman (Backup Mission Commander); Munfrey Kerman (Mission Commander); Doodlong Kerman (Mission Specialist); Anson Kerman (Mission Pilot).

Unfortunately for the photoshoot, it was nighttime on Minmus when the Hab Module landed, and the crew didn't feel like standing there all night.

This one has my fuel tanker in the background

close up of fuel tanker: can hold 14,805/18,095 units of liquid fuel/oxidizer, but is currently empty. I haven't actually used it, so I don't know how well or even if it works.

Some recent shenanigans!

Landed on Minimus. WOW that place has little gravity and super icy ground! So hard to work a small rover there.

yhBVdhC.jpg

Bob Kerman went into convulsions after seeing just how big and steep that Munar cliff-face was.....I forsee sweet ramping in the future.....

My Caterpillar rover is a beast! 45 degree angle going up and speed is not an issue! Yes, it survived the ramp.

Finally, I had no idea, but it seems I landed 10km from the Memorial. This is my first easter egg found!! Hooray!

Randall Kerman radioed into KSC about a sudden bang and dramatic drop in throttle. He was very hard to hear over all the alarms blaring in the cockpit. KSC radioed back: Randall, your Engine Number One and support tank fell OFF.

I THINK this is bad:

those last 2 images are about a second or so apart in time... shockingly that thing did NOT tear apart!!!!!

oh, and yeah, I lifted that tank up the HARD WAY! it is docked on top of a 3 man module, which, is hidden under all that struttage!
