Firespitter propeller plane and helicopter parts v7.1 (May 5th) for KSP 1.0

Hadn't noticed 0.24 was out. I'll do a recompile today, but with summer being here, I haven't finished all the features for the new parts yet, so it may end up as FS v6 + dll v7.

TACLS has a .9 preview up that should be 0.24 compatible... So just KAS for me.

Sorry if I'm just a little slow on this one and missed the message, but are either of those DLLs meant to replace the one in the 7.0 pre-release you did the video on? With the 7.0 pre2 installed, I get le crash on loading to the space center after the main menu (0.24, 64-bit), and it seems to do the same thing using the 0.24 DLL you posted on the last page instead of the one bundled in 7.0 pre2.

Unfortunately the preliminary 0.24 Firespitter dll still causes MechJeb2 to crash KSP.

Current version of MechJeb2 and Firespitter aren't compatible it seems.

Under which circumstances does it break? Can you post an output_log from KSP_Data?

I would think the error is with MechJeb just because the code in FS is almost entitely contained inside each part, whereas MechJeb reaches into all manner of things.

Strange...

I tried to reproduce the crashes but have now been unable. Was able to launch, have MechJeb2 direct a rendezvous and no crashes.

Did something get updated?

POST LOG. Snjo, like Sarbian, does not have a magic wand. How's he supposed to magically know what's crashing if you don't tell him? Don't you think that if he knew what was causing the problem, he'd have already fixed it?

i dont know what to do. i install firespitter and then put the new dll. in and it says its outdated and i cant use it. Maybe i installed it wrong?

All you need to do is delete the "old" Firespitter.dll and replace it with the new recompile. If you're overwriting anything, you're doing it wrong.
