Admin Module

Hey Harv, dmncwrd here, I just made an administration module for the center of your base.

The total mass of the craft is just 17, and it has a gimballing engine capable of lifting the craft.

It was originally built to be a command tower, but you could use it as anything.

Bull's Eye Station

3cxW3Iz.png

Small station that can deorbit kerbals with its own cannon. I have tested it and Kerbals can land safely. Combined with a Munar cannon, it allows kerbals to reach orbit, enter the station, deorbit, and land, all without the use of a ship.

Mun Tower;

Completed shielded from elements and self contained. Powered by 32 RTGs and has space for 64 kerbals The garage has two docking ports for securing any rovers you wish to operate from it(as is specifically designed for DEMV mk4). The garage attached to the decoupler is designed to be decoupled upon landing, its only used to balance the center of mass during flight. Has multiple sets of lights all which can be toggled via 1-7 hotkeys.

The rocket could probably use a lot of tweaking, as when I landed this thing I bad no fuel.

R&D FCO (Research and Development Forward Command Outpost)

The R&D FCO is a easy to place Research Station with all currently available science utilities for scanning YOUR Mun! Place around the outskirts of your base to light up the area and stop your blind kerbals from stumbling over their own clumsy feet. The base has NO ladder access from ground, but your KERBONAUTS have jetpacks right? We have specially designed it to be EASY to land on!

Commands:

1. Toggle landing gears.

2. Toggle Solars

3. Toggle SCIENCE!

TSBS-Mun edition

About 20 units (19.595 to be exact) and uses 53 parts total

ignore the stand, i have tested it to orbit

The TSBS-Mun edition can hold up to 9 Kerbals and has 4 docking ports to allow easy access for ships to take Kerbals either back to the mun or to Kerbin

Back again with a new utility it's here, something to do with that cannon you've just had sitting around - until now!

Here's the full utility to be put in orbit

YgqElkA.png

Here is the detached bonus piece-but we'll get there

vGIogTQ.png

Here is an extra in space shot of the core post-separation

And here is the album link in case you want it for any reason http://imgur.com/a/CWc9w

So as you may have guessed, this is a basic station that exists for the purpose of catching and holding 6 kerbals that have arrived with no vessel. It can also function as a core for a real space station if you ever seek such a thing, but that is not all. So this kerbal's orbit is achieved with cannon-launch+jetpack, which works very well to get TO the station, but the clear fall off is trying to use just the jetpack to descend. That's where this handy separating extra comes in-a cannon to take them back! While not the first to think of this, we did make our cannon it's own vessel. It can aim with SAS and has the littlest bit of RCS fuel to stabalize after it splits from the core. In addition to holding up to 6 kerbals you shoot into orbit, if you ever need to simply ship more to the base you can meet with this vessel combo and send them down rather than having to make a landing.

Weighs 23.33 units altogether

Best of luck with your choice whatever it may be

Hello.

I am here to present to you the orbital outpost I built for your series. It currently does not have a name, I was hoping you'd like to name it. :D

The mass is ROUGHLY 28kg

Resources include:

1850 Electric charge (My idea was electric buses to haul kerbals from the station to Kerbin? This is probably not needed.)

360 LiquidFuel (440 Oxidizer)

320 Monopropellant

__________________

Four Mark1-2 Command Pods surround a central shaft, accommodating twelve kerbals on their own, added to the two and four-kerbal Lander-Can and Hitchhiker. The main purpose of these are to serve kerbonauts awaiting departure back to Kerbin, awaiting shuttles. The meathod of getting the Kerbals up there in the first place is the Orbital Cannon, introduced in Episode 5, and then correctional burns with jetpack fuel/RCS. The reason of using Mark1-2s instead of, say, Hitchhikers is to replenish this jetpack fuel.

Upon shuttle approach, there are four docking ports available when the ports are all empty.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my post. Thank you and have a nice day.

EDIT:I should note the command pod in control is the Lander Can. I must also state there is no probe body onboard.

Name of Utility: Imperial Proto-Station Core

Screenshots:

Here is the Mobile Imperial Dock Yard (under construction) based around the Imperial Proto-Station Core:

UeXduUn.png

Weight: 17.279 units, 83 parts

File: Imperial Proto-Station Core .craft file

Additional Details: It will launch with two Kerbals in the lander can, however, the external computer cores means that it does not need anyone to pilot it. Also, while optimum power is when in direct sun light, the 3 batteries and 4 Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators means that the sun can go piss off for a while and it will still have power. There are lights around the docking ports that, potentially, make docking that much easier. There is also limited maneuvering from 8 RCS thrusters. Please note that the Imperial Proto-Station Core was originally designed to orbit Laythe, Jool, and Dres and the original launch vehicle does have the capability to reach those destinations.
