Using the new version of KAC in Making History, when I add alarms (i.e. transfer window) or sometimes even go to add an alarm the mouse cursor disappears until I restart the game. Haven't had this happen without using KAC. KSP.log for if it is helpful.

Specifically it happens when you mouse over the scrollbar. I think this is a Unity bug, and not specific to KAC, but there is probably some workaround that TriggerAu could implement.

Anyhow, I'm satisfied that so long as I avoid the scrollbar I'm in good shape.

darn thats a pesky one

With the repro steps I can have a look. One of these days have to rewrite this to not use IMGUI - but its a daunting task

See what I can find

No worries, no hurry. We can all just learn to avoid the scrollbar for now. I probably don't need an alarm for every transfer window anyway. :)

Oops. I was wrong. It isn't the scrollbar, It's the right side window expander. Maybe that can be disabled for now?

I think you have got the correct GUI component now, yes I agree. RHS window edge. Good job!

I also have the cursor disappearing bug. It happens at the very least with KAC and Toolbar Controller. It seems it happen any time the cursor changes from the default pointer. For example, when the cursor changes to "resize" arrows to resize the box... when the cursor tries to change back, it simply disappears.

Ubuntu 17.10 build 1.4.1.2089

Thank you for the help!

Couldn't verify Remote tech caused a bug

@TriggerAu, Yes another mod. Just trying to highlight that the bug isn't exclusive to KAC. "Toolbar Controller" also has a "move window" feature that changes the cursor and has similar bug where the default cursor does not come back. I know you don't maintain that, but I'm hoping any info helps.

thanks both, be interesting to see if its platform specific and ill try and repro tonight too

@TriggerAu I was working with @linuxgurugamer on this same bug, it's related to the custom cursor loads, and appears to only affect the linux client.  He hasn't solved it yet, but was only able to reproduce it on a linux install.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1slfwuQfhSwd_C56tknu55PkENL4m6rGN?usp=sharing is a video of it happening on toolbar.  Notice the interaction with the 4-way cursor and then the loss of the cursor altogether.

I also use KAC and transferwindowplanner so I'm keen on helping anyway you need.

I haven't yet been able to fix this.  But it's reproducible in a Linux Xubuntu 16.04 VM under VMWare

let me know if you get a solution, I had to put this aside to work on other stuff (such as KSP-AVC,etc).

Also, if you need someone to test

That's the Blizzy Toolbar, NOT the Toolbar Controller.  The Toolbar Controller uses the Blizzy Toolbar

I just released an update for the Blizzy toolbar which disables the cursor switching on Linux.  It's not great, but at least the cursor doesn't disappear now

I don't believe that KAC has implemented the Toolbar controller yet, so that was not relevent.

v3.9.1.0 Released

You'll find it in all the usual places - Has some logic to not do the custom cursors on Linux only as @linuxgurugamer did in a few things (many thanks)

Download from GitHub or Download from Curse or Download from SpaceDock

I've tested: it works as advertised. No more missing cursor. Thanks again for the rapid turnaround !
