For the stock parts only version of the Pollux II check this page:

Today I present you the Pollux II. A two-craft spaceship system designed for Interplanetary missions (primary used for Duna operations).

The package consists of 2 seperate spaceships:

-The comand and service module (max. crew 7 kerbals)

-The atmospheric lander (max. crew 2 kerbals)

All parts of the booster stages are either dropped on sub orbital trajectory or can be deorbited with mechjeb, no spacejunk!

Mods used:

-Mechanical Jeb ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/12384-PLUGIN-PART-0-18-1-Anatid-Robotics-MuMech-MechJeb-Autopilot-v1-9-5 )

Here a Duna Mission video:

The Lander Mk. IV is the same design as the Mk. III version but has an additional heatshield attached:

demonstration of the heatshield:

Full Laythe mission with the Mk. III version:

As Jebediah loves the thrill of aggressive aerobraking a solution to protect the spacecrafts from the massive heat produced from atmospheric friction during these maneuvers was needed.

The Mk. VI version of the Pollux system is the latest achievement in kerbal engineering. It comes with an advanced version of the lander heatshield to offer protection for the mainspacecraft aswell during aerobraking.

In addition the outer tanks of the main craft have been reinforced with heat protection panels to minimize the risk of heatdamage. The bigger lander heatshield also offered enough room for a detachable solar powered rover.

modified ascent profile for the Mk. VI:

100km orbit

turn shape 70%

start turn: 12km

end turn: 70km

Can you upgrade mechjeb to 2.07?

Or, if you're busy and don't have time to do that, could you at least upload Mechjeb version that these rockets use? I could change them manually, but I can't find mechjeb 1.9.5 :(

I will work on an update ...but mechjeb 1.9.8 should be fine for the old mechjeb files
