Ok, I'm going to ask you for a picture.

It's a laser spacestation called the "Lewis and Clark" that orbits above Kerbin (That will likely be featured in my fanfic) Should I give you screenshots, or the .craft file?

I wish for the station to be tilted at a angle over the daytime horizontal horizon of Kerbin and for it to be firing its red laser beam and a target on Kerbin

Surely you would use this lovely picture of Nick Cage to politely explain you aren't doing any requests..

Even though this is your art thread and have the freedom to post whatever type of art you want, and I must say, it's pretty impressive how well you can blend his face into the picture, I would consider it a type of art... so, you should be allowed to post it, once again, it is YOUR thread...

apparently its off topic and they removed all the previous posts of him

Yup, that would pretty much sum it up.

Hey, Steering the topic back to 3D stuff, and Kerbals.

You're a master of 3D.

So what can i do to make this scene look more... Realistic?

Just, general suggestions, that would transfer from 1 3D program to another.

Lol, well he looks so depressed... Also it could help if he wasn't frozen in mid-jumping jack.

erh everything looks like plastic, and i cant tell where the main lightsource is coming from or what it is? seems like the sun is bleeding through the roof

Part of that is the camera angle,

Second is the part that that's a T-Pose, he's not posed, nor are any of his shape-keys active.

So to fix that... Apply some general surface noise textures, or would i need something more specific?

Also, i'm guessing the specular amounts are contributing?

i dont know how blenders GI system works but if its just the sun illuminating that room then there should be soft GI an AO shadows rather than direct light

Well, I'll look into that when i get home today.

It might be the light.

Also, exactly which elements of the picture looked particularly plastic?
