They Won't Destroy A Structural Panel, But The Impact Will Make Them Wobble. I've Noticed If I Launch A Volley At One Of My Larger Armored Crafts, The Big One Pictured For Instance, A Separatron Or Decoupler Will Slip In Through A Crack Following A Previous impact And Hit Something Vital, Blowing The Ship Apart From The Inside. It's Pretty Cool To Watch!

Or Just Aim For An Exposed Nuke Engine And Be Done With It. Boom!

Thanks, just tried it.

its a very good attack vehicle.

managed to destroy my station in orbit of kerbin, without much difficulty.

That's great! It's nice to hear that it's effective, thanks for giving it a test run.

I was browsing my archives and I found rare footage of a heavy fighter succesfuly attacking a Dreadnought class battlecruiser mady by Macey Dean. There you can see that heavy armor was no help. Sadly gun camera of a Shade Mk II fighter works only few seconds after target is locked and missiles are fired, so you cannot see the how badly the battlecruiser was damaged...

Target locked

I have 2 Cruisers 1 light and one medium.

The first is the the first one i made for project Babylon and is currently under development for a launch stage(its really heavy)

It has 8 smart missiles and around 6700 DeltaV. Part count is in the 530-550 range and its nimble for its size.

All pictures were taken in space thanks to hyper-edit

The Light Cruiser has 4 Smart missles and was made just for a break from devolping the larger one. Part count is in the 300-350 range but still weighs the same as its larger cousin. Also very nimble when rcs turned on.

It will be a great cruiser but we need to solve 2 things - getting it into orbit (I´m sure Temstar will help us figure out) and solve that structural integrity of front part. As I love it´s wasp-waisted design, it is a nightmare during vicious aerobraking.

But you have definetly the potential to maka a working Laythe capable escort cruiser!

Could you try those torpedoes on something (my favorite target is Macey Deans cruiser or carrier) and post pics?

I consider those torpedoes great, but I need a proof of their power! :)

what is a space mine ? always here talk of them never seen one

a fuel tank etc debris etc going in a retrograde orbit in an attempt to blow up an enemy vessel

images may help show the explosive potential and power of thsi weapon target oW0JsMH.png landmine on launch pad ae37kQV.png image of impact from map view qV1Hat9.png image of impact from staging view hvNwxhv.png

this was made because someone asked to make a vessel capable of deploying space mines however when i came back to post it the event occurred so here it is xg9WuxZ.png launching 6bQb8RT.png gravity turn JtB2ub1.png deorbiting RMGab6X.png image of the mine feild from tracking station

Well, I imagine space mines become more effective as there are more introduced. They make a better passive defense than active offense.

better offense actually because you can launch it in a retrograde orbit on the exact same path as the target want to destroy and boom explosion.

Via action groups or some very simple one you can attach to stagging - that applies for "dumb" ammunition.

Smart missiles are basicaly smart spacecrafts which can be controlled using probe inside them.
