Invent a name for the first city on Kerbin.

New Kerb City (Not that there was an old one, but perhaps it was destroyed and all that is left is their space program?)

Kutah [Pronounced Koo-tah] (Had to throw my own state in there.)

In all seriousness, I could get behind naming cities after the developers and other Squad members.

In particular, "Siliskopolis" really rolls off the tongue, as does "Mount Rayner."

Also, at least one city must be named "Insert Name Here." Almost like it was accidentally named that because someone forgot to fill out the form.

Seeing as Kerbin is meant to be fairly similar to Earth, I think you could have about 8 based on different geographic locations.

- Kertropolis or Kertopia (America) - Controls the original KSC area

- Kerham or Kerhamshire (Britain) - Controls an island or coastal location

- Kervograd (Russia) - Controls the northern area and part of the North Pole

- Kernburg (Germany) - Controls the central part of the KSC continent

- Kal Kerba (Arabia) - Controls the desert continent

- Kanjing (China) - Controls the other continent

- Kamps Le Kerbra (France) - Controls the remaining area near Germany

Then an interesting feature would be that they are all seperate countries that each have a space program and you can choose which one you work for and in the upcomming career mode there could be a space race between them. Now that I would like to see.

People, please. Why would the Kerbals name their beloved cities to sound like cities on some strange, alien planet they've never heard of? Of course they'd give them names in their own language, and after things that make sense for the city and its surroundings.

Many cities are located near rivers, so maybe one would be called "Ednargoir".

Another one might have a prominent bridge, so "Etneupal" or even "Etneup aleddaduic".

Or one might be near a tall mountain with snow, so "Acnalb Añatnom".

And so on.
