Chapter One: First Steps

191 AER (After Expirimential Release). John F. Kerman has announced the creation of the Jedi Space Program to try and out-achieve the best of Scott Manley, kurtjmac, Danny and Solar Gamer. His first goal: EVE AND BACK, NAOW!!!!

Bob Kerman: Uh, Mr.President, sir, I think maybe we should set our sights a little lower to start with. Like, maybe putting a satellite into a stable orbit. Around Kerbin.

John F. Kerman: What if the people don't think that would be awesome enough?

Bob: Mr. President, we haven't even built a jet airplane yet. I think a stable orbit around Kerbin would be pretty awesome.

John: *sigh* Fine. Get it done, Wherner.

Wherner von Kerman: On it, Mr.President!

John: Will it fly?

Wherner: Sure, watch!

John: Well, suborbital is better than no orbital at all. Que science!

Next time: ACTUAL orbit, because I can do better than that!
