it would be great to be able to lock, transfert in or transfer out all or a part of the tanks ?

Hi, gilflo. I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if you mean a way to select some or all tanks and apply an action to all of the selected tanks, my modified version can do that.

@AdamMil I'm seeing the date of the dll mod for this specific TAC fuel balancer you mention and it's from 2015.  Will this work on the KSP 1.1 prerelease?

I haven't used KSP 1.1 so I can't say for sure, but it might work. Why not give it a try and let us know? :-)

It does not even load (exception logged on game load).

Thanks for the info. Steam auto-updated to KSP 1.1 yesterday and I was pretty disappointed with it, so I went back to 1.0.5.

Has Squad (or anyone) released any mod migration info, describing the breaking changes they made? I could try to fix this mod if it's not too much of a pain, though I do wish @TaranisElsu would come back. :-)

Well, there's at least the post by sarbian:

This pretty much covered everything I had to fix in my mod.

I could take it on if TaranisElsu is truly off to pastures new.  I'll ask him.

I'd be glad if you would. He asked me to take over, and while I was willing to maintain and improve it, I wasn't sure I had time to figure out the new Unity UI stuff in order to make it work again in 1.1. Perhaps you can also consider incorporating my changes into the official version.

I've asked him.  I'll see what he says.

Bad news first - I haven't heard from TaranisElsu since I sent him a PM on Wednesday.

Good news - I have rebuild my version of TAC Fuel Balancer for KSP V1.1.1

I remembered to test it without Blizzy's toolbar - it went Kaboom! but I fixed that too.

One thing I did notice is that there are a couple of NREs on the very first run but they don't reappear and don't seem to cause any problems.  I think they are due to the lack of a settings config file.  I can rename the settings file to trigger the NREs reappearance.  I don't think the problem should hold up a release.

OK, I'm gonna make a GitHub for this and link it to this post.  We have a bank holiday and I'm going to be away-from-keyboard till Tuesday, so I'm not going to do anything major over the weekend and TaranisElsu may have got back to me by then.  If I have the chance I may package up an unofficial zip file, I don't want to annoy anyone but I can always take it down on Tuesday when I get back.

KSP-AVC Support: "This mod includes version checking using MiniAVC. If you opt-in, it will use the Internet to check whether there is a new version available. Data is only read from the Internet and no personal information is sent. For a more comprehensive version checking experience, please download the KSP-AVC Plugin."

Attribution: This build is fixed by me, Z-Key Aerospace. All bugs are my responsibility.  Previously by TaranisElsu. Great design and coding is entirely due to TaranisElsu.

Like I said, I'm back at the keyboard on Tuesday.  Please don't go uploading this to Space Dock or CKAN in the meantime, OK?

TaranisElsu told me he'd be busy and slow to respond to messages. He hasn't responded to my message either. But I think he will eventually, so don't worry (yet). :-)

As for the GitHub repository, you could just wait for TaranisElsu to let you take over the official one, but it's up to you. I don't think you'll be annoying anyone if you put up a .zip file. Just make sure to include the source code or else the moderators will take it down.

I see that you've already loaded this to Spacedock and have already mentioned plans for CKAN.  If this is fully official, might I address three things.

First, THANK YOU, I love this mod!

Second, I see on CKAN that TACFB is up.  Are you taking over just this FB mod, or do you intend to eventually handle others as well?  (This is pertinent to whomever else might be so inclined to assist on those still-unsupported mods.)  I speak with personal interest in TACLS, Part Lister and Atomic Clock, of course, but this and TACLS are my primary interests to be sure -- I suspect others would say the same! (See first item.)

Third, if this is indeed official for going-forward purposes, might I gently suggest that you open a new forum thread for support so that we can close out this one?  Only the original creator of a forum post or comment can edit it with updated info, such as for future release and support info.  (I'd also suggest "reserving" two or three of the first reply-entries below your post in case you'd wish to use them in the future.)  If you do, then I'd also suggest updating the forum thread link within your Spacedock listings as well.

(Dare I hope that my favorite LS mod is back on the map?!?!?)

I haven't heard from TaranisElsu but I have published a version that works for now.  He told AdamMil that he would be busy and out of touch for a while.

With regard to the other mods, I don't use them and I'm not that interested in them.  I don't do parts and textures so I wouldn't want to take on any mods that needed modelling.

In the future I will start a new thread when as soon as I get an OK from TE or if I think I have waited long enough.  I would like to have a look at AdamMil's changes and also some modernisation (stock tool bar) and career-mode integration.  If I get the time I'd like to give it a rewrite.

This might be of interest, with regard to one of the other mods in question.  The old thread for TACLS is not yet locked, but a new development-only thread has been created to offload some of the conversation.

The source code, based on 2.5.1, is available from my download link. I've also gone ahead and created a patch to the 2.5.1 source code (or at least the Source directory within it) containing my changes, which is temporarily available at the following URL: http://www.adammil.net/tmp/TacFuelBalancer.diff

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
